Highly informative, practical and to the point. Written in a textbook style. Explanation of concepts is supported by several examples. Provides exercises to practice what they’re preaching. Very helpful for any aspiring journalists and/or journalism students.

I picked this book to read and improve my personal writing in for my work, great reading and good references.
I highlighted so much of it and took notes i’ll get back to it.

This book seems like the more modern version of Blundell’s “The Art and Craft of Feature Writing” with a bit of an Australian twist.

I particularly enjoyed the examples of feature stories that backed up the chapters.
