Are You Really That Stupid? Observations of a Skeptical Believer

Rate this book
"Are You Really That Stupid?" explores the history, politics, and missteps behind the formation of our accepted Christian doctrines, and does so in a most unusual way. The author examines some of our sacred theological cows using humor, irony, and science. The result is a book that will enlighten and enrage. "Are You Really That Stupid?" will make you laugh, and write hate-mail to the author. At the end, you will have a better understanding of your faith.

This book offers a fresh perspective from a Christian author who isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers as he looks at some of the most commonly-held beliefs and practices observed by many Christians.

Anyone who is frustrated by an expectation of "blind faith" will find this book incredibly liberating. Anyone who holds fast to Christian dogma just because it's what they were taught will find this book very offensive. Anyone who thinks all Christians are brainwashed sheep will find this book falling short of condemning religion--and they should also reconsider their position after reading this book.

I recommend this book for any Christian. I especially recommend it for any Christian who feels dogma, ritual, rules and expectations are getting in the way of a meaningful spiritual experience.
