Isabella Grey is invited to participate in a Progressive Dinner Party for a cash prize. The problem, no one knows who invited the ten guests. When the guests start to vanish during the dinner another mystery is added to the evening. The goal of getting to six venues and participating in eight courses in a timely fashion seems enough of a challenge but someone has decided to add a surprise to the menu. Will there be any survivors left to claim the cash prize?

A quirky, enjoyable read, with lively characters, and where murder becomes almost incidental. With A Deadly Dinner Party, the title (and blurb) sets your expectations … i.e. that a few people might be bumped off along the way … and the fun part is guessing who will be next. Nobody is quite who they seem, and there are twists right until the end. It is rather a fun whodunnit.
