Our heroine literally bumps into our hero on the street and they both sense the immediate connection. Things definitely get off to a great start, but eventually they have to make the big decision about where things are going. And that is where it gets rough.

This is a science fiction romance with some daddy elements. The story is well written with interesting characters and an easy to follow plot which nevertheless throws in a few challenges to make things interesting. I enjoyed the light science fiction elements to the story as it made it a bit different from the usual. It all leads to a nice bit of steam as well as delightful HEA. Overall, a pleasant read for a weekend distraction.

Will Mary allow Derrick to smash through her fears?

This was my first time reading a sci-fi romance & I absolutely loved it. The dynamic the author created between Derrick & Mary is what makes for a great reading experience. Derrick is attracted to Mary but is Mary willing to let go of her fears for a chance at a HEA with Derrick?.
