Three Girls, a Guy, and a Portal

Rate this book
Alex Silver was a simple prospector looking to find his fortune in Washington. A new plot of land in Oroville to put his camper on turns into a whole lot more when a small cave leads to portal. The other side is full of virgin ground loaded with gold deposits, but dangers are everywhere in the valley in the form of goblins, orcs, trolls and worse. A little adventure never stopped Alex, though, especially when it involves a sexy elf, a beautiful adventurer, and Oroville's own daisy dukes wearing country gal.

Fun and to the point

I enjoyed the story, the main characters, and the setting. Moon was funny in a naive, charming kind of way.

The only negative comment I would say is to hire an editor. Some sentences were a bit confusing due to missing commas or unexpected changes in word tense.

Competently written, but not outstanding. For the "backyard dungeon" genre it is above average, and I like the prospecting angle. Fencing all that gold (and especially the jewels) will be a challenge, and I'm interested in how some of the details will shake out as this progresses, as I assume it will.

Lots of fun!

Everything you want in an adventure! Girls, elves, orcs, goblins and lots more. So mix in gold, silver, jewels and a whole new civilization and there is lots to enjoy. Can't wait for the next book.

Great Story

Refreshing easy to read book. If you enjoyed “ Backyard Dungeon” you’ll find that this book has the same flow and sense of adventure. It also has an ending that leaves so much up in the air that calls for at least one more book, if not more! I can’t wait.
