I have (finally) completed Rosetta Stone’s Arabic course. The program gets a lot of grief for being dull, expensive, and teaching grammar through inference. People also get annoyed that they finish the course and aren’t fluent, but expecting any program to get you there without speaking to anyone or writing anything is unrealistic. I wouldn’t recommend it as a sole resource, but if you wait for a sale on a lifetimes membership it’s about 150 hours of content per language which I’d say is worth the cost.
