Educating Emily

Rate this book
How to drive a man insane in bed. That's the subject of Emily Sinclair's latest article for her online magazine. And she has just the guy in mind to teach her — Devlin McKay. After all, she's fantasized about the hottie next door for years. Devlin is shocked by Emily's proposition, not to mention aroused. She's definitely not a kid anymore, and she's not just sexy — she's irresistible. He agrees to be her sexual mentor, but he has a proposition of his own. When the lessons are over, they will each go their separate ways. He's not in the market for a relationship. One night in the classroom — well, bedroom — and Devlin is singing a different tune. Not only is Emily Sinclair all grown up, but she has a lot to teach him, too.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "EDUCATING EMILY" I personally thought this was a well written hot as sin sexy read with humor, passion, a twist or two.
Emily is writting an article on 10 ways to seduce a man and bring him to his knees she was her all time crush she had on Devin McKay to be her teacher bur at first he refuses saying it will cause a feud between the Sinclairs and tbe McKays.
Emily tells Devin if he won't do it she up to plan B his name is Mike he interrupts there dance at the family barbecue and tells her he'd do it but there were rules no relationship just sex.
This was a very enjoyable read with no Grammer errors that I could find the storyline was sweet hot steamy and the characters were entertaining engaging and pulled you right into the story.
I personally loved the chemistry between Devin and Emily especially when it turned into more than just sex I definitely recomnend to read and I can't wait for the next book it's Taylor's story it would be interesting if she was with her new boss Cooper Hathaway.

This is my first time reading Beverly Havlir, and it was an enjoyable read, for me. "Educating Emily," has a very familiar, rom-com feel, and Havlir gives it fresh, entertaining, update. It's a bit, falling-for-my-brother's-best-friend, friends with benefits, a contracted relationship, and a forbidden romance, all in one. There's some drama, angst, humor, amusing circumstances, great banter, plenty of heat, and surprises in store. A good, solid foundation for a series of books, and I would definitely enjoy reading more from Beverly Havlir. I received this book as an ARC from Hidden Gems Books, and I volunteered this review.

I really enjoyed this book, it was well written and hot as h***. Sexy and fun. Emily is writing an article on 10 ways to seduce a man and chooses her neighbor Devlin who she's had a crush on her whole life. It's a fun book where 2 people just learn to really love each other. This is the 2nd book I've ready of Beverly's and they're a quick fun sexy read with a HEA and there's not a lot of obstacles preventing the two lovers from getting together. I like that in her books they're so far mainly about the characters feelings and how they learn to grow together and learn to love each other. It was a fun sexy hot read.

3.5 stars. I liked this quick read. I did find the H, Dev, to be a bit annoying with "you drive a man crazy doing XYZ" it was pretty arrogant and I think it would have been more interesting if she had experimented on him what drove him crazy for her article. This book was pretty predictable, and I would have preferred seeing a bit more of their relationship outside of the bedroom. Overall, an enjoyable erotic romance. *I received an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Emily is writing an article for her e-zine on how to drive your man crazy in bed and wants to be sure she’s experienced the tips she’s eventually going to include in her article. She asks Devlin to be her mentor - he’s confident, sexy, and she knows he has the skills she needs to make her article successful. 😉

Ms. Havlir wrote a full cast of amazing characters, the story flows, is interesting & entertaining, and the relationship between the H and h feels genuine. I can’t wait to read the next book about Taylor (Emily’s best friend) once it comes out!!!!! 💓 💋

Emily is writing an article and asks her brothers’ best friend to teach her how to drive a man crazy, she has had a crush on him for years and thinks this is the perfect opportunity to be with him. He agrees but has conditions, no strings and no emotions. Sparks fly but what will happen when their families find out? Fast-paced read with plenty of steamy and an entertaining story with plenty of drama. I really liked it.

I was given the complimentary book for an honest review

The book is about Emily who has 3 brothers and lives next door to dev and his 2 brothers and sister who she has had a crush on for years
Fast forward to them all being older and having there own life’s and Emily manages to seduce dev by asking him to help with an article in how women can seduce their men

What follows is a rom of Emily and dev there sexual antics and eventual realisation for dev that he is in love with Emily

Good story. Please check for errors before releasing. I liked they all grew up together and knew each other's families. The brothers were funny. To have a crush so long and then finally get to have him was something she could not believe. I hope Taylor will get her own book.

Emily is writing an article and Devin seems like the perfect guy to test it out, so she propositions him. This is a brother's best friends, friends with benefits romance. There's drama, angst, steamy situations, funny moments, humor and more.
I received this book as an ARC from Hidden Gems Books, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

This was an average contemporary romance. A quick, easy read, perfect for the beach or a lazy afternoon.

I spent the last few days reading Beverly Havlir's books. Don't let this fool you, I wasn't reading because it was so good I couldn't put it down. I was reading because a) they were the only unread books on my kindle and b) I felt like there was potential here and that one of the stories might really come together and I would enjoy it. Instead I had to accept that Beverly Havlir doesn't agree with me, similarly to red wine, I want to like it but I just end up with a big headache.

This was the first book I read. I loved the cover and the plot, but the book never came together for me. I was much more interested in learning about Cooper (who doesn't appear to have a book .... and this author seems to have disappeared, she doesn't have a site anymore ... I don't know what happened there).

Anywhoo. It was just sorta kinda ok. It's the perfect book if you're in a hospital waiting room and there is nothing else around to read.

I thought this was a sweet love story plus it was well written. The premise is a little unbelievable but I really liked the characters and the love between them. I thought their families were funny. I have already read it twice and heard that a second book based on this one is in the works.
