2 excellent essays: Timothy Snyder's "Ukraine Holds the Future: The War Between Democracy and Nihilism" and Zachariah Mampilly's "The Du Bois Doctrine: Race and the American Century." Also noteworthy: Fiona Hill and Angela Stent's "The World Putin Wants: How Distortions About the Past Feed Delusions About the Future."
I enjoyed reading about "The China Trap" and " The Weakness of Xi Jinping". Also, the articles on "The World Putin Wants" and "Ukraine Holds the Future" were very informative. Foreign Affairs always gives a more in-depth perspective that you don't get with the news media.
