Medical secretary, Sonia Goerger has been welcoming and meeting with numerous patients regarding genetics for many years. This interaction inspired her to create this series of books on “Children of Genetics.”
The books within this collection address challenges these patients may face on a daily basis, in simple terms and with endearing characters.
Graphic designer for several years, Elodie Garcia is an author and illustrator of children’s books and comics. The delicacy of her line allows her to approach, in a gentle way, difficult subjects. By illustrating the “Children of Genetics” book series, she hopes to help families facing a rare diseases.
The ARGAD Association (Association for Research in Genetics and Support for Families and Professionals of Dijon-Bourgogne) is a non-profit association under the 1901 law, created in September 2010. ARGAD engages in numerous Improving reception and care conditions for patients with rare diseases in Burgundy, within the Genetics Centre of Dijon CHU, Raising awareness among health professionals in the Burgundy region, and amongst the general public regarding rare diseases, Contributing to a better and improved training of health professionals involved in rare diseases, And, supporting clinical and biological research activities in the field of genetic mutations associated with abnormalities in development and intellectual disabilities in Burgundy. Серія "Діти генетики" - про тваринок з різними генетичними захворюваннями і їхні родини, що була створена аби допомогти діткам з інвалідністю або рідкісними хворобами краще розуміти те, що з ними відбувається.
Перша книжка серії - про левеня, яке не було схоже на жодне інше, і його сміливу маму, яка не втрачала надії зрозуміти більше про здоров'я її сина.

Sinceramente me alegro de haberme cruzado con este libro, ya que es lo más bonito que leí.
Es un libro que hablar sobre un tema médico tanto para los más pequeños de la casa como para todas las edades, es informativo y te hace ver cosas que ni sabíamos en este caso la errancia diagnóstica y la aceptación de uno cuando es diferente (no voy a negar que la parte del sabio me recordó al Rey León).
Este tipo de libros deberían estar en las bibliotecas y que lo lean en las escuelas (sin importar las edades).

"Errancía diagnostica". Nunca había escuchado de esto.
En mi caso, yo creía tener autismo, quería tener autismo, al final recibí más o menos un diagnostico
