After reading the first instalment, I was curious to see how the rest of the tale the author started would play out. I found this to be the same level of fun and adventure as the first, following the six companions as they go from being fresh off completing their Chase Quest to avenge the death of the Second King to begin their new quest to save the elven kin of their sorcerer Ramsey the Green who are suffering an evil disease. From the first book to this, there are clear shifts in focus where characters who garnered less of the spot light are given the attention they deserve and their own emotional developments throughout. If you want a fun, action-adventure set in a world of man, druids, elves, wizards, dragon-folk and even zombies, immerse yourself in this one.
