These kids books are done by National Geographic so of course, they have great real life pictures! They are great for small children because they have few simple words about the different kinds of bears. There is an easy quiz at the end which makes the children feel proficient about what they learned.

This colorful and photo-filled board book features five different bears, including the brown bear, black bear, giant panda bear, sun bear, and polar bear. As is the case with other titles in this series, readers have the chance to learn interesting facts about the species while also seeing them in their natural habitat. The Guess What? bubbles provide snippets of fascinating information. This one is perfect for sharing with little ones.

This book is an informational book all about the different types of bears including fun facts about eat species. There is even a bathing activity in the back. This book could be used in a preschool environment teaching kids about various bears in our world. I recommend it to parents who have children really interested in animals!

Did you know there was such a thing as a sun bear? I did not. Did you know black bears can be brown and white as well as brown? Turns out I learned a lot from this book. The baby seems to think bears are the same as dogs, at this point, but she does know that Pandas are their own animal (which is part of why I got this book in the first place).
