Third in the Flying High Series by NFL Patriot Julian Edelman. Follow Jules on his journey to become a football player through hard work and persistance.
This book feels like it was written by a football player. There’s nothing wrong with that. However, the title is a bit of a misnomer. First off is the number three. Trying to find books one and two was virtually impossible. It’s maybe the three refers to the squirrel’s jersey but not in the pictures. So I don’t know where the three comes from. When I say this book feels like it was written by a football player. It does. The animal football team has finished their season and they all go on vacation, but the goat still practices every day. Our squirrel sometimes practices sometimes plays. But feels out of shape and sore and the goat reminds him that yes you will unless you practice every day. I understand this book. I just don’t agree with it. It is said your body needs rest even from all sorts of physical activities and not just sleep. Even not accounting for that. The tone in this book is football player me tough. I find parents are too on their children to be better at sports in lieu of everything else including academics so this is not a message I would want to share and repeat with any sort of frequency.
