Rate this book
How does a man go from bus driver to butt naked? The answer is a twisting, turning, true-to-life tale – with names changed to protect the unclothed. In The Naked Bus Driver, author Marshall B. Allen chronicles the collected experiences of "Newt Sexton" in an entertaining, insightful memoir with more than a few laugh-out-loud moments. After discovering nudism in a magazine called Sunshine and Health, Newt becomes intent on visiting a retreat. One fateful day, while driving his route, he discovers a mailbox marked LAKE COMO and nearly locks up the brakes on his big, shiny bus. The day he’s been waiting for has arrived! As he ventures into this new, bare-all world, the people Newt meets are normal, everyday folks. They get together for cookouts, card games and even a wedding. The only difference – clothing is optional. The Naked Bus Driver is a story about everyday life – and the bizarre routes it can take when you follow your heart. So get on the bus and buckle up. You’re in for a skin-tillating ride!

Eh. Interesting only because of the references to home. The book could have been written using only a few hundred words and been much better. The chapters are repetitious (do we really need three chapters in a row about kids getting caught peeping?) and the book itself was pretty boring. My the midway point, I was basically skimming.
