There is snow, ice, and a storm. Will there be warmth on this frozen cold planet? Maybe I should be thankful that I'm not dead from the spaceship crash, but this stupid planet is icy. I need to get out of here as soon as I can. My team will come and rescue me... soon... very soon... Except fuel and food are running low. Maybe I have to go outside into the storm when I can't even see where I come from. Oops... A hairy blue creature with language I don't understand finds me. He has his battle axes. Maybe I have to convince him I'm not his dinner. Trapped by snow is the first book in the Crashing into an Alien Tribe series. A sweet, steamy sci-fi alien romance that is hot enough to melt the snow. Each book can be read standalone, but more fun to read from the beginning to the end.
I barely made it through. The book read like it was written in another language and then google translated into English. It was so disjointed and didn’t have any kind of flow. The premise sounds great but this book fell really flat. There were so many errors in the writing that it was distracting. It was disappointing.
UHHH, what the what? Okay, this was either written in another language and translated to English or it was written by an AI program on how a snow planet alien trope romance should be. Skip it honestly.
A sweet & simple romance following one woman stranded on a wintery planet and a cutie pie alien who shows up to save her. Overall, loved this story! The characters are fun and the ending is obviously satisfying. The author even included a link for a bonus epilogue which was a nice touch! I will be back for any future books!

Trapped by Snow de Alina Riley serie Crashing into an Alien Tribe libro 1
Argumento:
I absolutely love Alina’s other alien series and I think I’m going to love this series too! I was frustrated for the characters with the language barrier but who doesn’t love insta-love?!? Although I think I might love Ocia the most
I couldn't make it past the second chapter. Maybe translation? Maybe a written by a child? I dunno, but the writing is very simple, repetitive and bland.
I enjoyed this book and I do love a strong independent woman who isn’t afraid to be scared in times of stress. Lexi is a space researcher that crash lands on an Icy planet and she won’t get rescued for a few weeks and Lexi knows she will run out of food and decides to brave the snow storm to find food but what she meets is a huge wolf like creature that looks at her as food and the a huge fur cover blue man comes towards her and she screams and passes out. Zefrain is the leader of his tribe and a hunter and his people want him to marry but he has held off and now when his pet Ocia goes missing he goes after him but what he finds is a human female that screams and falls to the ground and he decides to take her back to the village but the storm picks up and he finds shelter in a cave and take care of the female. Lexi wakes up but she isn’t in the snow but in a cave with the hot looking blue alien and his wolf but we cannot communicate to each other but when the weather picks up we cuddle together to keep warm or rather I do but he doesn’t seem to mind and our attraction to each other doesn’t need words when our actions are amazingly hot and steamy. How does it all turn out does Lexi go when they finally come for her or does she stay with Zefrain.

Lexi was coming back from a mission when the small ship she is on malfunctions and she crashes on an alien ice planet. When she tries to repair her ship, she finds out that a piece bent and her tool kit has no replacement part. Her mother ship is trying to get to her to pick her up but it will take weeks until the portal they need is available. When Lexi is running out of food, she goes out in the snow in hopes of finding some. She is found first by an alien animal and then by a fur covered alien named Zefarin. Lexi is terrified and passes out. When she wakes up she finds herself in a cave with both of them. They didn't hurt her and they are even taking care of her. The problem is that she has no translator and they can't understand each other.
Zefarin was out chasing his pet when he sees a little human woman collapse in the snow under his pet. Concerned about the fragile human woman, he plans to take her back to his village. When a bad storm suddenly starts, he finds shelter in a cave. He will do whatever he can to take care of Lexi.

I enjoyed this book. It was a fun read. Lexi crash lands on an icy planet and when she ventures out in a storm to try and find food, and encounters a large furred blue alien male and his wolf-like pet. When she passes out, Zafarin brings her to a cave to shelter them from the storm. I always love the language barrier aspect of alien romances when I find it, because then the characters' actions have to convey their intentions when words cannot. These two are not so good at trying to understand each other, but make it work. Will Lexi return to her research team, or can she leave it behind to stay with Zafarin? 4 stars.
I really liked the plot — it reminded me of Ruby Dixon’s style, with the human female stranded on a harsh icy planet and the big, furry blue alien male who finds her. There’s definitely some chemistry despite the language barrier, and the steamy scenes are a nice touch.
But I have to say, the witty banter didn’t quite hit for me, and the writing style could use some polishing. The frequent ellipses felt distracting and took me out of the flow. Still, it’s an enjoyable read if you’re into alien romance and survival stories, even if it’s not the most polished book out there.
Lexi is a researcher forced onto an icy snowy planet when her ship malfunctions. Hunter and leader Zefarin found her, but they could not communicate because she had left her translator in the ship. (Very annoying for the reader.) He took her to shelter in a cave and they got very friendly in the close quarters. Would the two of them stay together? Or would her team members rescue her and take her away?
It give me no great joy to write reviews like this but I thought maybe some other unsuspecting Reader needed to see this amoung the (weird and misplaced) 5* reviews because.. yeeeah.
I have no words for what I just read. It changed tense in the middle of sentences, there were misspelled words and just awful grammar. There were paragraphs where the same thing was said but in different ways. It was disjointed, clumsy and hard to follow. I'm really not sure why I continued to read past the first chapter.
This is a different, more unique alien romance story, than most others that I've read. A creative tale. The writing style and wording could use some work, but it's still a good quick read. A human researcher, crash lands on a planet of ice and snow. A blue alien that's more yeti than man, saves her. With a blizzard and a language barrier hindering the couple, they still manage to catch feelings for one another. It's a sweet story and it has a h.e.a. ending.
New author for me I enjoyed this story. It was fun quirky interesting and a little different. The main characters were interesting and relatable. The story flowed well although it did read like written by someone with not a lot of experience. At times a bit young in the writing style and a bit stilted in language. But it was still worth reading for some light hearted alien fun.
The first time they meet, he saved her life. He terrified her. She thought he might want to eat her. Not be able to communicate didn’t help. But then there’s a lot that can be done without needing under stable words. It was more than just amazing…..there was a definite connection, a connection that kept growing stronger.
I thought the story had the potential to be a really good story but the flow was off. At times it seemed kind of choppy. I think the world Lexie found herself on and Zeff and his tribe could really be a kickoff to a great series with all the snow and ice, but the the way the book reads is a bit of a stumbling block for me.
The plot was promising, but the whole thing is just written very oddly... like a badly written wattpad story. It's also full of grammatical errors and just in general in need of a thorough edit. The characters were very bland and very generic, and a lot of scenes were so long for no reason at all.
Lexi has landed on an ice planet with a broken ship. Oddly enough Ocia is off to find her in the snow. (Ocia being a very large wolf like animal.) Zefaria is following Ocia to bring him back home. Together they bring Lexi to a cave to warm her up. What happens when she wakes up to a big furry blue guy and a huge wolf like animal? Enjoy
The blurb sounded good but the language let the story down. For a remote planet with little interaction with other species, the language was very ‘slang’ and not in line with the character’s lifestyle. Could have been a good story if edited and kept to the original theme.
Nice story. I was a little disappointed in the chemistry between the characters. I felt aside from the sex, there wasn't much there. I kept waiting for more of a connection between them, but the language barrier was definitely a deterrent.
