This is a treasure trove for anyone looking to enhance their copywriting skills. The book introduces practical frameworks like AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), PAS (Problem, Agitate, Solution), and the Rule of One, each tailored for different types of copy. These tools are designed to streamline your writing process, making it more structured and logical. By applying these frameworks, I was able to create a personal "copywriting bible" for quick reference, eliminating unnecessary fluff. If you're seeking clear, actionable strategies to write effective copy, this book is an invaluable resource. I can't wait to apply these strategies in my future projects!
I chose this book because I'm just starting out my journey in copywriting and wanted to learn the basics, I love that everything is laid out and explained thoroughly. I would recommend this book to anyone starting out in a new online business or in advertising. I will definitely be referring back to it once I really get into writing my emails to potential customers! Thank you for all the great info!
Very concise and a quick read. The subtitle is key, this book does focus on frameworks and checklists, but it would be an excellent book for an advertising or media student, or someone just starting out in the trade. The book was self-published, and there are one or two typos and sentence fragments (I worked as a journalist.editor, and as a writer for the PR industry) but otherwise, it's a quick, concise and effective read.
I have read 5 copywriter books, including the most popular by Jim Edwards, and this is practically a summary of that book along with extras from other well-known copywriters in the field. I highly recommend everyone check this book out because it will save you time researching.
Really not much helpful info here. The frameworks and formulas are listed but very little discussion around the application of any of the formulas. More descriptive rather than actually educational. Also very repetitive as many of the frameworks are quite similar. Would NOT recommend.
I liked the organization of the book and the acronyms for each type of copy. It is a good reference book, especially after reading it all the way through.
A collection of different writing frameworks. Some advice is very generic and I would not consider it useful anymore. But it's a good round-up of all the copywriting acronyms. Who knew there were so many!
El libro ofrece las distintas estrategias de copywriting y las detalla punto por punto. Pero solo las nombra. Me hubiera gustado que cada estrategia viniera acompañada de un ejemplo cómo para tener una idea de cómo se pueden aplicar en contexto.
