Caleb has one Rule… No more Straight men. Ever since Caleb caught his ex Bradley cheating with a female, he vowed that he would never be friends with or date jocks or anything resembling a straight man again. He considers them rude, insecure and has no interest in closet cases. There is only one problem. He finds them irresistible.
All that changed when Marcus, the hunky new curly-haired football player, transferred to Julius High. He’s kind, thoughtful, and friendly toward the LBGT community and needs a tutor that will help him pass English. He asked Caleb to tutor him because he’s the smartest dude in school and now Caleb has a decision to make.
Is Caleb going to avoid him at all cost as he promised himself, or will he bend his rule and help the tall, smooth peanut-buttered skinned muscle-bound Marcus to pass English so that his school team can win the state championship?
Can he help him and trusts his charm? Find out what happens in this nerd/ jock romance story about two eighteen-year-old high school seniors, This is a friend to lovers, high heat, steamy, bi-awakening mm romance that ends in a HEA.
I was not a fan. It wasn't a big awakening because he was already bisexual he just never did anything either a man. Next there were mistakes made that made me very confused on who was talking. I have read a lot of sport mm but this one was horrible. There was a few things they guys would say that made me uncomfortable. This one was not it. Don't waste your time on this like I did. I read the whole thing and it just wasn't good.
I read a lot of MM sport romance books! About one a day and this has been my least favorite of any book I have ever read. I normally only leave positive feedback but in this case I just want to say I don’t feel like the characters in this book stay true to who they are. They are not strongly built and do things that don’t fit to what was laid out. I’m really sorry to have to give a poor review but I hope this helps the author
I read this book when it first came out. I was concerned because it had a lot of errors, but when I went to the authors Amazon page, I realized the author uploaded the wrong version.
I refreshed my Kindle and got the updated version and I actually really enjoyed the new version. It had more pages and an Epilogue. It was such a vast improvement.
I downloaded the next book in the series. Excited to find out what's next for Marcus and Caleb and for Brandon. Great read.
Definitely wasn’t what I was expecting for a jock/nerd mm romance. Wasn’t a bi-awakening as Marcus already knew he was bi just didn’t have experience. Story was a bit over the top and somewhat cringy and cheesy dirty talk during smut scenes.
This was an young adult story. Marcus is new to the school & needs a tutor or he will fail. Caleb has been the tutor to many on the football team. But he has sworn off bad boy jocks. But Marcus is his ideal man.
This story was so disappointing that I had to DNF it at around 70%. I The hot “straight” guy kept making rookie mistake after mistake. I know he’s a senior in high school, but damn, learn from your mistakes! So sad since this is one of my fave MM tropes (jock/ nerd).
