Having ESP in her fingertips gives new meaning to “get the picture,” and for Everly Gray it’s a one-way ticket to trouble. With fear nipping at her heels, out of control curiosity, and a reluctant request from the chief of police for help with a case, she stumbles across, not one, but two dead bodies. What she knows puts her in the path of a killer. What she doesn’t know—she’ll be the one pulling the trigger.

Liked but not quite as much as the first one for 2 reasons. 1 Mitch is never around, popping in for sex every few weeks before being sent on another mission immediately makes it hard to care whether he and Everly end up together. 2. Everly's constatnt decisions to go into danger without telling anyone what she is doing are very irritating. Also I liked Annie better when she was Violet. She treated Everly more like a friend and equal and less like a child in need of protection (which they are all guilty of ). I do enjoy the mystery and I love Pierce and will definitely keep on with this eries though.

In book 2 Everly's hinky fingertips, as well as her insatiable curiosity, get her even deeper into trouble. She visits a bombed-out mall, and her fingertips go on the fritz giving her blurred around the edges, foggy and distorted images, which she finds difficult to interpret for Detective Adam Stone.
Wanting to find out what is wrong with her fingertips she goes investigating on her own. So, what happens is she finds a body! And, then her car was blown up (luckily, she had just parked it and walked a semi-safe distance away)! Then she finds another body!
Well, you get the idea Everly Grey, and her fingertips are a magnet for trouble. If you enjoy romance and mystery with a little of the paranormal thrown in, you will enjoy this fast-paced read, laced with zany and lovable characters.

Great sequel. Everly has a dilemma when her hinky-touch thing malfunctions: it's like losing part of herself but makes life with Mitch easier. He's not around much in this book so the focus is less on their romance and more on Everly, the importance of her ESP fingers and some overdue dealing with her parents death. Add in some unhinged murderers and she is kept busy.... right up to the baited hook at the end, reeling me into #3!

Everly Gray has the ability to perceive images through her finger tips, which makes for a unique and different main character. Yet, half way through this story she takes on the personality of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum. Unable to curb her curiosity and gets in over her head, she needs someone to rescue her. Why do authors believe a female main character needs to be rescued... needs two men in their lives?? Its overworked and becoming boring to read the same scenario in various authors. This series had potential due to the main character's uniqueness. The secondary characters were interesting until it author chose to clone the Stephanie Plum characters.
Everly Gray is hired by the chief of police to learn who is blowing up various construction sites and why. She is working with Annie's brother to find evidence and arrest the bad guys. Yet, Everly's curiosity gets the best of her and she goes out on her own. She is injured in a construction site explosion and loses her ability to perceive images. As much as her boyfriend and friends try to keep her safe, Everly continues to get into trouble and continues to need rescuing.

The third book in the series: To Touch a Thief: is more a romance between Mitch's sister Jayne and her boss. Everly is hired to do a seance for Jayne's boss, Everly is trying to learn who is stealing money from the company and why. Yeah, a dead body turns up during the seance and the hunt is on to find the killer. Of course, Jayne's boss is stricken deathly ill and an antidote is needed, of course the killer is revealed half why through the story and of course Everly gets in over her head and needs to be rescued.

The second fascinating entry in the Everly Gray mystery adventure series
This time Everly and her magic fingers are official but now something isn’t right. Her touch sense is vague and that terrifies her. Just when she has developed a new life and has been attached to the police department as a special consultant her “Touch” is failing her. On top of that the new man in her life has to leave town on a dangerous mission without even a kiss. Her ever growing curiosity leads her from bomb to body to bomb to body even with limited use of her fingers. With Anne, the former Violet James, Adam, and Pierce trying to protect her, Everly just can’t sit and wait for questions to be answered. We meet a friend whose quest to understand her special talents helps Everly understand what is going one with her own.
Romance blooms for Anne in the middle of a fire bombing, and doctor and special agent Pierce is more than glad to supply the kiss that Mitch couldn’t claim, but neither event can overcome Everly’s distress over her relationship issues with Mitch.
Can’t wait for the next one.

Note: I seldom give 5's on Goodreads because I am comparing these books to the best I ever read. At other sites, rate just to how much I recommend a book. This is a 5 recommendation.

I'm obviously in the mood for these as I'm sorely tempted to download the rest of the series while I'm on a roll. I likely won't (I've got waaay too many unread books at present and want to enjoy the anticipation)

We didn't really get to see much of Mitch this book (so boo for that) but Pierce is still around ( very changeable indeed) and there's a mystery involved on top. I didn't enjoy this quite as much as A Touch of Ice. I don't know if it was that the first book so was refreshing when compared to some other things I've been making my way through lately.

Everly's 'touch' goes on the blink and it's never really explained why. This kind of bothered me. I'm hoping it's a set up for down the track. Still, it's good that it came back in time to get things moving along better. Although (being me) I do have to wonder if her 'touch' returned at that time so that certain 'bedroom activity options' had a legitimate reason to be explored. hmmm..

In this follow up to A Touch of Ice, Everly expands her social life and the use of her skill. But her power is on the fritz and her helping the police might be a bit more than she can handle. Violet's old partner plays a bigger role in this and makes it known that he is a bit interested, curious how that will play out in the following book/s. I kind of liked Mitch a bit less in this one, but not exactly his fault I guess. (I know this wont make sense until you read it). There were a couple of really creepy scenes, a bit more tension than the first one in my opinion. Still loving the series and cant wait to read the next one.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series. I love the author's writing style and her development of Everly over the last 2 books has been superb. To be honest, there really isn't anything I dislike about this. The characters are believeable and you actually care what happens to them. I love the relationship between Mitch & Everly. There is so much action, suspense, romance and even a dose of paranormal activity to keep things interesting. Defintely worth a read. Will highly recommend. On to the rest of the series.

Fast paced entertaining read with a touch of suspense and “who done it” spin. I absolutely loved this book! Everly Gray is an awesome “character” not just in a literary sense but in an interesting person kind of way. She’s a little dysfunctional just like you and I; and her curiosity gets her into trouble, but who’s doesn’t?! I love the cast of characters; each of them compliments the other perfectly. I would love to see another book in this series by this author.

The fun continues as Everly (El) is now officially assisting the Apex PD – of course an insatiable curiosity still leads her into some dangerous situations. I enjoyed El’s developing relationship with those around her. In addition to another mystery we had a bit of uncertainty with her relationship with Mitch, some confusing developments with Pierce, and a brotherly relationship with Adam. The book ends with some unknowns around El’s parents. Can’t wait for the next book!

The 2nd book in the Everly Gray adventures digs deeper into the life of El and her friends. While El is brought on as a consultant with the local police force, she is caught up with another murder. Of course, her friends are there to help. I have really become a fan of these books. It's not very often that you get to read a book about someone who has ESP fingers.

The only thing I don't really care for in this series is that Everly seems to be a wimp. She comes across strong but then acts like a total wuss when she needs to be strong...Seems like if she was going to get in to so much "trouble" she would develop a backbone.

I still think the books are great, just gets on my nerves.

I enjoyed this light-hearted installment of the Everly Gray series. I really like Everly... she's funny and quirky! It's been fun for me to read a mystery because it's been a while! There is adult content in here that I could definitely do without!

Everly Grey is not your typical woman. She can sense things with a simple touch and her curiosity gets her in loads of trouble. I enjoyed all three books and the novella, and I have already purchased book four. I would definitely recommend this series.

This book not as good as the first. Seemed disjointed. Mitch is always leaving, El is always going where she shouldn't without backup. Almost gets killed several times. And the book doesn't end, merely stops.

Just My Cup of Latte

Oh this will blow your mind! A little slow starting, but when the TNT blew, it really blew my mind. The author knows how to get you feeling a bit bored, and then lights the fuse! Enjoyed it....Now where is the third book?

Another solid book from this series. You can tell that there will eventually be some type of romantic relationship with Pierce and El. The author is subtlety hinting at it, but i like Mitch! I can't always relate to the main character, but this was still good.

I'm hooked!

Great books. Hard to put down. Different from my usual light mystery reads, but purchased the 5th one when it was a discounted special and need to catch up! Definitely recommend!

I found the second book in this series less engaging than the first. While it's a fine read, I didn't see the characters developing from the first book, while their relationships took only the smallest steps.

This is a fun cozy mystery. The central character has a gift that allows her to "see" things when she touches objects or people.

The main character is still very likeable and the characters mesh well. The editing errors that were in book 1 continued throughout this book. Over all, good plot with a bit of a twist.

Better than the first...fewer unexplained holes. Liking the characters and hoping to see a few things answered from book two.
