Our job leaves little room for anything, especially romance. Which is a shame because we like to play. We’re restless and hungry for something new. Then she walks into the room. The one. We both know it. Problem is, she’s the client. And our services are never
Maybe a club night will remind us why we don’t want to be tied down? And why breaking our hands-off rule is probably not a good idea.
Then we turn, and there she is. She’s hiding behind a mask, but we can’t deny the connection as we peel away the layers. It’s time to get down to business. The business of pleasure.
This year Mardi Gras is about more than indulging in good food before the fast, it’s about these heroines finding pleasure and love with more than one man. Join some of your favorite romance authors for the Mardi Gras Ménage series! Laissez les bon temps rouler, indeed.
Anne Lange grew up with a love for reading. She reads many genres of romance, but prefers to write sexy stories, sometimes with a dash of humor, usually with a side of those sinful pleasures your mom never told you about. Oh, and always a happily ever after. Anne juggles a day job and a family while she looks forward to retirement and finally writing full time. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her wonderfully supportive husband, has three awesome kids and two fur babies.
For a quick FMM erotic story, this one was pretty decent. All the plot points were rushed due to the length of the book, so while “insta love” isn’t my thing, it was alright here.
'Every woman deserves to be treasured and pleasured'
Is the motto Damien and Pierce live by but the moment Blu walks into the club their motto becomes 'Blu deserves to be treasured and pleasured'....by us....exclusively'. Damien and Pierce are brought to their knees by Blu, but to give them credit they embrace it, they change their plan and they focus on claiming what's theirs. What's not to like? Two steamy hot men focused on their woman, pleasure and a future. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I had to post a 5 star review because this story had blended "instaLove" with a spicier steam level than is normally found in the Insta genre's typical short story...
And I like the extra heat! Its the "quality" (over quantity) here in the intimate scenes, and even though there were mire than one, it didn't feel like the sex over rode the 'romance/love' element of the story... THAT is what was different-GOOD about this book!
It gave us that same 'Instalove' element, but was able to UP the spice and heat level of its steamy parts; without reducing the characters connection,(that fictional feeling of "insta" we get with that genre)... ( does what I'm trying to convey make sense to anyone? Hah)
Ok, so I get what we were going for here and we had all the right ingredients for a short, spicy, MFM novella bug there was always something just leaving it a bit flat.
One issue I had was the anatomical terms for body parts. If you’re a spicy romance reader you’ll know what I mean! It really ruins any heat or build up. When using the word v@gina instead of say for example p*ssy or something else it feels like a Drs exam to me!
Also it might just be me but I like fairness in ménage’s or why choose. And Pierce is technically the only one who does her. Yes Damien visits the back door but still……
This was the first book I read in this genre and it was...interesting. I originally picked it up because it was a quick read and I think that the storyline was okay. One thing I do have to bring up though is that it kind of seemed like nobody proof read this book before publishing it because, at least in the version I was reading, there were a lot of grammatical errors/sentences with a word missing. I was able to bridge the gap but that was honestly the most distracting thing about this book for me.
I absolutely love the newest book in the Mardis Gras series. Anne always gives us the greatest characters and stories. Damien and Pierce share everything, and when they see her behind the mask, there is nothing they won't do to protect and keep her. I absolutely love their story and how they get the sweetest ending.
Short and steamy and on the sweet side. A total case of instalove from all three sides, which I adore. Blu never even questions if this is right or something she wants. She just jumps right in. It’s refreshing. Add in a little bit of a mystery and it’s a great little story.
For a quick "fall in love with eachother" romance this one was fast. A bit too fast for my liking. And the amount of grammar and punctuation mistakes in this book really threw me off liking this book.
Also, what is up with the multiple different book covers? My phone, Goodreads, and Kindle all have different covers even tho it's the same book.
Aside from the typos in the book I really did enjoy this. I loved the chemistry between Blu, Pierce and Damian. I really wished it were longer so we could see into the life they could have as they continue their journey
