The Beast of Borneo has fled Lord Randolph’s circus! Well, if you can call Pongo the jungle boy a beast, anyway. And it turns out he was abducted in the first place! Fifi, the gorgeously endowed French maid, takes a shine to him and brings him under her protection while Vikki and Dobbin cover her back! Wild romp with beautiful pin-up art.
Not as good as the first book because the same themes are replayed with little variance and the jokes are essentially identical. With many more females it becomes obvious that he only gives pretty women macro breasts and micro feet which both look goofy upon repetition- especially on the same females.
The perfectly British "kinks" are less funny when reading the books back-to-back so I recommend separating these volumes so that each is optimally funny without suffering repetition.
The art is fantastic in all regards -like the first book- but the colouring gets (somehow) drastically better when you turn over page 20. He is excellent at "impressionistic" art which makes his characters look even more expressive when he gives those who are featured the "caricature" treatment for dramatic effect!
