This was just perfect. The conclusion to all of it smart and also making it in some way real.

"That's what you taught me - we don't have to accept destiny or Des Tiny. We can create our own future, all of us. We have the power to rule our lives - we just have to make the choice to use it." Is my favourite quote out of all the books, which even almost made me cry. Creating even a stronger bond to reality. As yes, we have the power to make choices and they shape who we are, what we will become and how our future will turn out.

Darren saved his friends and evaded destiny by dying and setting things right.
Him and Steve being half brothers and sons of Des Tiny was a really nice plot twist. Also that Tiny practically gave Darren the neon sign showing the back exit to all of this.
I would love to read more of it. See how Darren's life turned out then and what happened to Evanna, does she still know - probably, right? And when the vampires and vampaneze read and hear about it all, especially ones like Vancha, what will they do? And will Crepsley die not knowing the true Darren? Only the replacement?

This was a great journey and I loved being on it. I hope I can create something as good one day and I will continue on with...
The Saga of Larten Crepsley!

This was just perfect. Not too sad and not too happy of an ending. I loved the way things turned out in the end. I admired Evanna and Darren outwitting that old short maniac in the end. Des Tiny not being a reader?! So flattering and fantastic.
