For more than 50 years, Oral Roberts has been taking the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth totally dedicated to bringing God's healing power for the whole person. Everything done by Dr. Roberts has the personal touch of his great love and care for God's people. Now, in the sunset of a life that has touched millions around the world, he passionately reveals the truths that have altered his life and awakened the church. From the presence of the invisible God, he brings to you the hidden keys that will unlock God's power as it releases His compassion. These truths will work for the plumber as well as the preacher, the bus boy and the businessman, the carpenter and the cleric, the housewife as well as the handyman. They are precious truths that transcend time and culture.
Oral Roberts has been one of the giants of the Christian faith for more than seven decades. His ministry has spanned the globe with a message of healing and miracles that has reached more than a billion people. He founded Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma—a fully accredited liberal arts university offering more than eighty undergraduate and graduate degree programs. He has written more than 100 books and created the first oral commentary on the New Testament. Roberts is considered the leading healing evangelist of the twentieth century, a pioneer in Christian television, and without a doubt, one of the nation’s most innovative, and at times, controversial communicators.
I didn't know much about Oral Roberts when i started reading this book, but now i love him. He is such a well spoken, wise, holy and honest person of God. I love him, his family and the ministry the Lord gave him, and what they are doing for God's kingdom❤️.
This book has become my number 1 favorite. It's a book i will read again and again over the course of my lifetime. It's so rich in wisdom, knowledge, revelation and testimonies of personal experiences that can help a lot of us.
Thank you God for Oral and Evelyn Roberts these mighty people of Faith! ❤️
The secrets of men are in their stories. One of the privileges we have as a generation is access to invaluable written materials which capture the strides of great men of the past; such knowledge help us to see the errors they made, the wrong decisions they took, and the decisive choices they made that empowered them to fulfill their destinies and their callings. When we have that sort of perspective, we find direction in the maze of activities calling for our attention; we can reorganize our priorities to suit the end we seek, and we can go beyond where are predecessors stopped in the furtherance of divine agenda. That's what this study has been for me. When you see the invisible, you can indeed do the impossible, says Oral Roberts. Genesis 12:6 validates this truth. The author rides on this theme as he takes the reader through a journey from his youth to old age. He kept pointing out that no matter what stands in the way of the christian, if he can see from the perspective of the invisible God, and believe what he sees, he can do the seemingly impossible. From his childhood dreams, to his education, his marriage, his ministry, his finances, his children, and other areas; the author stays with the same conviction (which I subscribe to), that when one strives to see the invisible he is on course to doing what others call impossible. A good read for an young christian. I reccommend it.
It was wonderful! What can I say? Oral Roberts taught me about giving. I never understood this before. Some preachers make giving legalistic, saying you must tithe or God will take it out of you with doctor bills. Other preachers are name-it-and-claim it, prosperity gospel, saying if you give you'll get a mansion and a Mercedes. Each position is extreme.
Brother Roberts made me stretch my giving. This is something I'm excited about.
this book of one of a kind. It's very challenging. It covers the spirit, soul and body. And also the secrets he learned from his wife, which every minister should put in practice
The life of Oral Roberts is an intriguing and inspiring story that touches the souls of all who take the time to read about his life and the history of his ministry, which was led by the Holy Spirit... I especially enjoyed chapter 25 which was about the 4th man in Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace. Great Book! RECOMMENDED.
Sitting in a place of wanting more from God led me to this book. Reading the author's story and how God was with him through every challenge peaked my interest to complete the book. The last chapter created a knowing of our Heavenly Father and his presence in every book of the bible. What an awesome journey of a great ministry!
The Spirit directed me to study the life of Oral Roberts. This book “When You See the Invisible, You Can Do the Impossible” was the only audible book so I bought it and the Kindle book so I could read and listen to the compelling words.
This book is a great guide to those looking for guidance and direction to achieve a fulfilling life.
Packed full of inspiration for anyone seeking a relationship with God, any Christian or leader. Learn to see the invisible so that going forward you, too, can do the impossible.
We need to see the Invisible first before we can do the impossible. God can not be seen, but we know he is everywhere. With that, we can do the impossible by his help and correction.
An amazing book by an amazing man who has lived what he professes. It will propel you to stretch yourself to the limit and expect the impossible to become possible!
