Kayla makes friends with an elderly lady who is going to teach her to sew. While Kayla is on holiday Mrs Grant moves in with her daughter and Kayla doesn't see her again. She sends her a note though, and also sends Kayla her china doll and her trunk full of clothes.
* I found it a little unrealistic that a lady like Mrs Grant would thank Kayla for the seashell box gift that she sent her. Ladies like Mrs Grant always say thank you, but maybe that's just in England 😂
