It does contain a lot of information and a number of good references. Unfortunately, even though I'm highly interested in the topic, the reading feels more like a listing of facts and events; not a coherent piece where reading will flow.

For example, the Where Wizards Stay Up Late, which deals with the exact same topic, reads like a novel.

Nonetheless, this book contains some information not found there, so if you really want to get more details on the topic, you should have a look at it.

Even considering that the book is a bit sketchy, it's also a very good source for the understanding of the internet foundations.
