The Blue List

Rate this book
First edition, first printing hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, in very good condition. Jacket is scuffed, and edges are creased and nicked. Lower board corners and spine foot are bumped, and page block, page edges, pastedowns and endpapers are tanned. Pages are otherwise clear, boards are clean and binging is sound. LW

Picked up at Bookfest. The plot is based on supposed WW2 Nazi plans to invade and conquer Britain. It's a bit silly and unbelievable, readers will need to suspend disbelief. How does an army captain get so deeply into the investigation? Why does he involve his girlfriend even after an attempt has been made on his life? Although the idea interested me at first, I soon began to feel bored, and wanting it to be over. The political conspiracy is a bit predictable.
