There is definitely some interesting and inspiring memoirs about Horowitz. But, I was expecting a bit more from the book, and having other people chime in about him.

I loved learning about how inspired he was by Bel Canto, which is obvious from his playing. But, it mentioned he would listen to recordings of Opera and try and imitate on the piano. Also has anecdotes from his pupils..

Can't believe I read a book like this, but such is my fascination with Horowitz that I read every musician's recollection of how Horowitz changed their life here. It gets a bit repetitive but there are so many great stories that I don't mind.
