An astonishing story of a teenage artist whose extraordinary talent gained her permission to sculpt the President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, as he worked in the Oval Office.

The book is written inside a realistic portrayal of life in 1800s Washington DC, where I could feel Abraham Lincoln's humility and devotion. Following Lincoln's assassination, in the midst of political turmoil, 18-year-old Vinnie Ream earned a Congressional commission too create the life-size sculpture of Lincoln that stands in the Capitol rotunda to this day.
