"All of it existing somewhere in between everything."

What is a life?

A collection of memories? A series of glorious highs and heartrending lows? Is it a purpose, cumulative or singular? Or is it something more? Something beyond what is tangible or immaterial?

Something beyond even what is found within us.

Is it a million little touches? A thousand laughing smiles? Hundreds of shed tears and dozens of stolen kisses on a few desperate sighs?

Is it the thread of yourself that you leave behind in those around you? The lives you’re unknowingly fated to change simply by existing.

A single moment of entanglement, forever binding the invisible matter of souls, until you’re so much a part of each other that there’s no chance of ever being the same. Even if you’re fathomless miles apart. Even if one’s gone while the other lingers. Even if the very love you hold is the thing that breaks you eternally.

Leaving pieces scattered like notes somewhere among the songs of your life until it’s all played together in one crashing crescendo of melody.

The final version of this forever fractured story.

*Fractured is book three in A Twisted Tale trilogy, which is a modern day retelling of Helen of Troy. It is new adult/contemporary romance and is recommended for 18+. This trilogy must be read in order.*

R. Phillips loves to write romance stories full of angst, plot twists and a generous sprinkling of salacious scenes. Playing with timelines is one of her favorite things to do in her writing along with including a dash of mythology. She’s also a big fan of leaving your jaw on the floor.

Rachael is a native Texan, reader first, and frequently imagines her book scenes to songs. She is a lover of coffee, tex-mex, and is probably too particular when it comes to her choice in red wine. She credits any success to the long line of strong women she comes from who gave her a steely spine, taught her to know her mind, and to always rise.

What the ever loving f**k was the end of that book. I LOVED this entire series, up until the last 10% and to an extent.. it ruined the whole series for me. I was enjoying it sooooo much and then BAM whiplash… and not in a good way. Wtf was Pandora and the paranormal aspect to the end? It just didn’t fit at all.

edit- now that i’ve calmed down this was so aggressive but i still stand by it 💀

i am actually so pissed off right now it isnt even funny. i think honestly 2 stars right now is me being generous for the fact that i loved the first two books as much as i did. book 3 frustrated me like no other with the random turn into a jason fucking bourne spin off by 80% i was well and truly over it and the last 10% had me FED up.

the fact that the search for xyz to take up over half of the book and all of that build up to it just for his extraction and the person behind it getting arrested the way they did to be SO anticlimactic made me so mad it isnt even funny.

i cant even talk about the last 10% without getting pissed all over again so im leaving that there as whatever.

i want to stress that i do think r phillips is an amazing author and tells stories fantastic but this final book was just absolutely not up my alley and i did not at all care for the direction this book took

What the actual hell was this book? Especially the last 10%? I was obsessed with books 1 and 2 but I’ve never seen an author drop the bag so much with a book conclusion.

Without spoiling anything, this book/series went from a contemporary romance with a mystery to paranormal in the last 5% of a 3 book series? No. Absolutely not. You can’t change the goal posts to fit your narrative and to simply get shock value.

1 star for the ending. 4 stars for the parts of the book that actually concludes the romance/story. So landing on a 3 star rating. I’m just going to pretend the last 10% simply doesn’t exist.

• 5/5 ⭐ • 2/5 🌶️ • (psa: 800 spoilers ahead)

first of all, i am unwell, bitch. holy shit. what in the everloving fuck? i'm 1000% certain that R. Phillips wrote this book with hate in her heart. she was an author who set out on a mission, and that mission was to ruin the fucking lives of all the silly bitches (aka ME) who fell in love with this series & these characters. i felt like this finale was written as an act of terrorism, and i was the victim. the emotional distress i felt spanned over all 427 pages & i'm pretty sure i was thiiiis close 🤏🏽 to having a stroke. despite the raging migraine i have from SOBBING my way through this book, fractured is one of the best things i have ever read. i can't wrap my head around the fact that this was the author's debut series because of how quickly i fell in love with her writing & how amazing these books were.

there were so many things going on in this book that i literally had to take notes as i was reading, some of which i will now present to you in the form of an unhinged review 😌

• prologue - ABSOLUTELY HOLY FUCKING SHIT
• ch. 1: i will fucking KMS if jace dies. period.
• ch. 3: “jace isn’t going anywhere, he’ll be lucky to ever wake up again.” my heart has been fucking PULVERIZED to smithereens bitch. SMITHEREENS!!!
• ch. 4: jace has one week to wake before i join him in the afterlife
• ch. 7-9: "jace, somewhere in between" this shit makes me want to fucking die. i am so fucking sad. i don’t even want to read this anymore.
• ch 27 - my chest is fucking HURTING from the conversation between jace & coop in the mysterious beyond bro. and what the fuck? el talking to jace over the phone??? goodbye. i cannot.

*chapter 27 was one of the fucking best, most heartbreaking, soul shattering, tear-inducing things i have EVERRR READ
• ch. 28-44: i was unable to take notes for the remainder of this book because i found myself incapacitated by my fucking TEARS 🫠

p.s. respectfully, FUCK THE ENDING

Emotionally damaging but utterly beautiful. This book ripped my heart to shreds & I balled my eyes out. Rachael does her characters justice, stays true to who they are, and provides the most emotional conclusion to a stunning trilogy.

I haven’t been able to put this book down all day. I’ve felt everything under the sun. I love these characters, their loves, and their friendships more than I can describe.

Okay this book like totally just changed genres on me? It’s apparently an action drama now??? The first half was literally so boring. I actually haven’t even finished. I’m like 75% in and I don’t know if I’m gonna even finish it. I’ve literally never done this before but I think I might just skip to the end to see how it ends. Disappointing because I liked the first 2. Will let you know if I decide to finish it but like probably not.
.
.
.
Update: decided to just finish it and like wtf. It changed genres again into super natural?? Like i get what she was doing to tie in the whole retelling of Helen of Troy BUT you can’t just assume everyone knows the whole story of Pandora’s box. I know like the gist but like not enough apparently to understand wtf happened in those last chapters???? Like maybe a better fucking explaining would have made me appreciate the ending more. I’m confused on who she was “fated” to be and who she was “choosing” to be. And also I’m confused who she helped save and who exactly the woman from the bathroom was. Idk I like where she was going in the end tho I’m not gonna lie. Just would have appreciated more details so I could fully understand what was happening. Also tho why they play jace like that??? He was like best character imo

the finale to el, jace, and coop’s twisted, torrid love affair is FINALLY here! i devoured it in a day, and thought it was a fierce ending to what’s been a beautiful story. So much of it broke my heart, and put me through the wringer, but eventually, it was pieced it back together. if you’ve been holding out on reading this trilogy until this book released, now’s your chance!

- helen of troy reimagining
- love triangle
- all the drama 👀

‘fractured’ picks up almost immediately where the last book left us, with everything between el, jace, and coop up in a storm. as they try to make their way back to one another, the three of them much survive a slew of treacherous trials, risking their survival in more ways than one.

i’m truly trying to be as vague here as possible because there’s very little i can say without spoiling a lot. all i’ll say is that this book tested the strength and tenacity of each character like no other, and i found myself so anxious with every twist and turn of the plot. as always, the writing was decadent, and i feel like i highlighted every other word of this book. it feels like rachael stripped her soul bare with this one, pouring out everything. there was a lot of heartbreak, a bit of mystery, and so much love between the pages of this book, it was impossible not to be engrossed. i think it was evident, especially from the way the previous book ended, who el would end up with but i appreciated the journey to the unique conclusion of her love story. some aspects of it were a little difficult to read about, and some details seemed a little out of the blue given what we learned in the last two books, but over all, i think it was a strong ending.

here are a few of my other favorite quotes!✨

“𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞…𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐧, 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲. 𝐈’𝐦 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧, 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐦𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞.”

i had a few gripes with this book, so please don’t continue of your haven’t started the book, haven’t finished it, or just don’t want to read them!

SPOILERS:

okay, firstly: i feel like el had a character regression in this one. she made so much progress between books 1 and 2, and in this one, she seemed childish, illogical, and so indecisive at times, it made me angry. i understood that she loved jace and coop, but i truly started to feel bad for both of them for getting caught up in her allure, because, at times, she seemed so undeserving of either of them. (example: when coop discusses how he’d been tortured and electrocuted for months to give up her location, she feels bad. but then a little while later when he mentions a one-night stand he had at some point, she gets pissed and is fuming at him. it just seemed to stupid to be mad at something like that when the man was literally being tortured for MONTHS for her. ugh.) and also becoming a babass vigilante/assassin person in six months isn’t character growth, it’s called an occupation change 😵‍💫

secondly: i hated jace’s perspective from the in-between. not only because it seemed like a flimsy way to drag out the love triangle that was never really a triangle (i think it’s evident even from the beginning that el would end up with coop) but because it completed switched up the genre? the first two books were advertised as contemporary romance, but have being able to see them while dead seemed more paranormal, and i didn’t love it.

thirdly: pandora?! i feel like she came out of nowhere. i understand how her story parallels helen of troy’s (they’re both women “cursed” with attributes [curiosity and beauty] to bring about the downfall of man/a kingdom, AND they represent the misogynistic stereotypes are borne of and feed the patriarchal lens with which ancient greece viewed the world and wrote such stories) but it just seemed to random to have her speak to el in the end. i was expecting the fates or maybe even aphrodite, if any mythical figure at all, to speak to el. i also couldn’t reconcile this “chosen” version of el that pandora spoke about with the character i read about ii this book.

anyway, that’s all. i know it seems like i had a lot to complain about, but i promise it’s just a few things. coop and have, rachael’s writing, and the wild twists and turns made up for the things that irritated me in this book by leaps and bounds!

Infinity stars.

El, Coop & Jace, I miss you so much already.

After reading Entangled & Bound last year I was instantly hooked with the world and characters that Rachael created. And I knew after reading the ending of bound that fractured was going to break me…and I wasn’t wrong lol. I mean I had bull body sobs while reading this book. My eyes were swollen the next day lol.

This series is ultimately a story about a girl who falls in love with two men a year & ocean apart and the journey they go on separately and together.

Going into fractured I have to be honest… I was scared shitless because I was so team coop and I didn’t know where we were going to go, but one thing this book taught me was…….in Rachael we trust!!!

Fractured starts right where bound left off.. with lots of questions, mystery, found family, choices, some spice (😉), and just an overall beautiful story🥹

I need to give a special shout out to my girl El, because her growth from entangled to fractured is honestly everything. And watching her do her thing in this book made me so proud of her!

& finally…..thank you Rachael.

thank you for introducing us to these character, allowing us to see their growth/follow their journey, and telling this story.

This was a masterpiece, but I will also be sending my therapy bill to you. Thank you for the ARC! All opinions are mine <3

Fractured 💚🌿
by @rphillipswrites

Book #3 in “A Twisted Tale” series.

(Arc - gifted. Release date 7th March 2023.)

I’ve had to sit on this for 48hrs before writing this review because this book 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 my heart. If you’ve not read this series then you are missing out. I don’t often cry at books but this made me sob.

This review is going to be a little different, I’m not going to give you the full plot of this specific book because this is #3, and you HAVE to read them in order:

💙 Entangled
🧡 Bound
💚 Fractured

Each book in my opinion has been a 5 stars. The series follows El, after the tragic loss of her parents, & a year after her biggest heartbreak, she returns to her hometown to find answers. She didn’t expect to meet the man who bought the sunshine back into her life, Jace. Loving him is easy, until her heartbreaker Coop returns and she realises the 3 of them are more intertwined then anyone can imagine.

The series is a love triangle, something I don’t usually love, but this whole series was done perfectly. When I first read Entangled, I was gobsmacked that this was R.Phillips first book because she is incredibly talented. Her writing style is descriptive but easy to read, 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐝 with so many twists + turns that you will never see coming. Both Jace and Coop are perfect for El in their own ways, her sunshine and her stars, and therefore makes the choice impossible for the reader too, we can’t help but love both of them which makes it all the more heartbreaking.

You should read this series if you enjoy:
💚 crying
💚 multiple POV (mainly el but we occasionally get the men’s)
💚 love triangles
💚 lots of twists that you don’t expect
💚 Helen of Troy retellings
💚 spicy scenes

This story has so many elements, modern but hints of paranormal, mystery (el is trying to figure out what happened to her parents), drama, tension, romance, spice & it’s 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 to make you laugh, smile & cry. I can’t recommend this series enough.

♾️ / 5 ⭐️

(Thanks Rachael for allowing me to be a part of your arc team on this. & thank you @ljreads_ for buddy reading this series w/ me. I loved being each others moral support 🤣🥹)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5 stars is not enough. Fractured gets the whole galaxy.

First, Rachael, thank you, thank you, thank you for this ARC. I am so happy for you! You wrote a masterpiece and I am so excited for what’s to come!

Fractured was beautiful, tragic, gut wrenching, and heart stopping all at once. It left me laughing, crying (literally from page 1) and smiling. It was everything I expected and SOOOO MUCH MORE, but it mostly left me in awe.

In awe of this story, these characters, this ending, but mostly in awe of Rachael’s writing. From the way she describes her characters and scenes, the intricate plot lines in Entangled & Bound, and the way it’s all tied up in Fractured…it’s truly something special.

I can call it beautiful, magical, captivating, and poetic but you truly cannot put it into words because you need to FEEL it. Rachael pours everything into this story and these characters and it’s felt through every word, every scene, every emotion. I mean, Chapter 27 was the most well written chapter I have ever read in my life. It played out like an actual movie in my mind and it was E V E R Y T H I N G.

From Entangled to Bound and on to Fractured you go on the craziest journey, meet the most amazing characters, feel all of your emotions at once, and truly become part of the story. I have never read a love triangle better than this. A Twisted Tale is it. It’s the story I’ll always recommend, the characters I’ll never forget, and I dare you to try and find me a better love triangle - don’t waste your time, you wont find one.

El, Coop, and Jace are the most amazing characters. Each of them added their own touch to the story, but El. Our girl El. I loved El the minute I met her in Entangled but Fractured El is my absolute favorite. Her growth throughout this book was *CHEF’S KISS* so so perfect.

@rphillipswrites Thank you again for giving us this beautiful story! 🤍

Fractured comes out March 7th, so if you haven’t started this series, this is your sign.

Fractured is the third and final book in A Twisted Tale.

I was absolutely terrified going into this book, and if you have read Entangled and Bound, you will know why.

El, Coop, and Jace, I miss you already. I genuinely need time to process my thoughts and emotions because I am speechless right now.

Reading Fractured was an incredibly wild and emotional ride. It was raw and it was beautiful—the most perfect end to an amazing trilogy—a true masterpiece. While this book absolutely destroyed my heart, Rachael found a way to slowly piece it back together. She has an incredible gift and way with words that make you feel as if you are living and breathing the story, which is something I absolutely live for.

If you haven’t read Entangled and Bound, please just do it. I do not give out 5-star ratings for books very often, but this series in its entirety is one of my favourite series ever and deserves every single one of those 5 stars and so many more.

I cannot wait to see what Rachael has planned next! For now though, I’m off to chase the sunrise.

Jace Fucking Dawson, I love you.

♡NO SPOILERS♡

-The end of El’s story, (insert tears). The final conclusion gives us closure, new relationships and answers to many of the questions you may have had. Rachel is very talented and definitely has a way with words. So happy she decided to write this love story for us to experience. I am sad to never read from the characters I’ve grown to love. But this is one of those series where I actually also care for the side characters.

-Jace Dawson, Eleanor Monroe and Coop Monroe. I love you all!!!!

-If you haven’t read Entangled (the first book in this series), then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!? I am very excited for the spin-off series to see how the lives of the other characters will play out after everything that transpired in this book!!!!

-I was fortunate enough to receive an Arc!!!

Umm sorry but I’m not feeling it.
At the beginning I have a high hope that El will be a grown up and stay that way… but Nope! She still rub me in a wrong way

somehow there are lots of loose end in this book.
How the enemy goes down was like… that’s it? It’s way too easy. What about Tiff? What about the Morrison? The girl in the bathroom? And in the end of the book when they are “in between” was like… huh?!

I knew that this is going to be a flop since reading Bound. I just can’t connect with how El’s thinking. And the writing is soooo trying too hard to become poetic which sometimes it gets confusing.

So yeah… unfortunately this book is not for me which kind of sad since I was having high expectations since I really like Entangled.

Overall I get it when some people compare it with the Ravenhood series, it has similar vibe with the love triangles but not as good in my opinion

This book kind of ruined the whole series for me. The last 10% was so off base I could have done without the change to paranormal theme which truly didn’t make much sense with how abruptly it changed. Also Jace deserved more, the author did Jace a huge disservice. A 3 star because this book started out good and the lose ends did get tied but damn.

Um….idk..The two before it weren’t fantasy and then this one she decided to make it a weird type of fantasy that doesn’t really go with the other books in the series.
Some of it was entertaining though even if El is extremely annoying.

Also, this is NOT like the Ravenhood series

i feel like i’m in the minority with how i feel about this book based off of other reviews — i actually enjoyed how it ended. though, i did find it very strange how it suddenly switched to slight fantasy/paranormal??? that felt very out of left field.

i was so worried that this was going to end in a way i didn’t like but i was really surprised. this book was probably my favorite because i loved the mystery of it all and just getting to see el get stronger and mature as a character; her growth was everything.

BOOK/ARC REVIEW

Fractured by R. Phillips

“The love that brought on great wars and ended kingdoms.”

Wow—Woah—Mic Freakin Drop—First, buckle up because this is going to be a long one. Second, (and I promise this will be the last time I say this…okay maybe not. I mean if R. Phillips keeps give us stories, this might just be my thing with her now) but I finished this one in bed and just stared at my ceiling with the words that are written within these pages that makes you feel all the emotions. So here’s to my review just trying to do this one justice, again.

R. Phillips knew exactly what she was doing, toying with all of our hearts through the whole story of El, of Jace, and of Coop. Now as you know I love a good love triangle, when there is a decision made. I don’t want the FMC to end up with both guys, if you ask me that’s cop-out in my eyes. With that being said, this is a love triangle and a decision is made. BUT this story wouldn’t exist without all three of them, each of them is important in their own way to the story. And even though (and if you follow me, I made a decision, on a team if you could say) but I STILL love all three of them equally.

The story. The ending. Can I say that I LOVE this ending, while I had own ideas and thoughts and opinions (and I am not confirming whether I was right or not) this ending is way better than what I could have expected. R. Phillips putting you through the wringer for the first two books but then it’s as if she bakes you your favorite cake and gives you the warmest of hugs to apologize. That’s how I felt reading this one, it’s the ending I didn’t think I needed but got. AND I AM OBSESSED!!

In the words of Taylor Swift, it’s the ending of an era, that’s how I feel reading and finishing this one. Starting with Entangled, then Bound and now Fractured. I’m not really sure where to go, what to do next, but just knowing that El, Jace and Coop’s story is completed and full and endless it makes my heart happy.

“I will always choose you.”

This book teared my heart apart and (mostly) put it back together again. I love these characters, this world, the writing so so much.

Coop, Jace, & El are gonna stick with me for such a long time. Their journey is emotional, angsty, painful, and so so beautiful. I can’t recommend this series enough 🫶

I’m so sad it’s over but I can’t wait for Mac’s book next month!! Fake dating a reformed playboy? Gimme.

Read if you like
✨ angsty love triangles
✨ strong & sassy fmcs
✨ broody bad boy mmcs
✨ sunshine mmcs
✨ secrets and betrayals
✨ contemporary Helen of Troy retelling
✨ even more mortal peril and suspense

I. Am. Heartbroken.

The first and second books (Entangled and Bound) were amazing 10/10. But this last one threw me for a loop and not in a good way.

I’m just really at a loss for words. I’ve never physically hurt so much over a book.

Sure El got a happy ending but Jace…. Jace did NOT deserve this. I really don’t understand what the author was thinking with that. The ending ruined the entire series for me. #TeamJace he deserved better.

This book blew me away, and the A Twisted Tale Series is a goddamned masterpiece. It is such a beautifully told story that brings you heartache and joy, tragedy and love, that is just perfectly blended together. I have never felt so many emotions while reading more than I did while reading this book. I was sobbing almost the entire time whether it was ugly painful tears or tears of happiness!

Enjoyed the series but the ending really didn’t do it for me. Emotions wasn’t hitting for me, I fully expected to cry and didn’t even slightly water up. I don’t feel satisfied

Although, the right couple ended up together my eyes. Absolutely perfect for each other and I’m obsessed with the sibling dynamics. Alec was the real star of the show, spin off for him when?????

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ALL THE STARS!
!!!!!!HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!!!!!

“You two make me believe in something greater than everything we know and understand.”

This has to be the hardest review I’ve ever tried to write out hands down. And I still have so much to say but can’t wrap my head around my thoughts. No review ever, will do this series justice. What I will say, this book was freakin’ heart wrenching, and heartwarming, there was so many ups and lows! I had a box of tissues next to my bed… I cried A LOT, but I also smiled just as much. This series was an incredible, emotional journey and I will forever remember these characters stories! They’ve stolen my damn heart, and made me feel everything. I cannot believe it’s over!

El has to be my favorite FMC ever, I’ve loved her from the very beginning! Her character growth is *chefs kiss* El in Fractured is remarkable, the things she goes through, I couldn’t imagine! What she does for the people she loves, her bravery! Her strength and heart is beautiful. I’ll always love, El!

I am team Coop always and forever till my very last breathe, but I’ll always have love for Jace Dawson. These boys will FOREVER be in my heart! Rachael knows how to write characters that you’ll fall deeply In love with.

One last time Coop…
“Hey, Princess.”

I couldn’t recommend this series enough. I definitely think this is one you need to go in blind and just be prepared for ALL the emotions it gives you! If you haven’t read Entangled yet, what are you doing?!

Thank you @rphillips for having me on your ARC team and writing one of my fav series of all time! Chatting with you throughout this emotional roller coaster of a series, from day one has been such an amazing moment to share! You not only are a beautiful, incredibly talented writer but an amazing person! I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us. 🫶🏼

“I will always choose you.”

Well. I think of the three books in this series, I enjoyed this one the most.

While it may have been outlandish, quite unrealistic and extremely overdramatic, this installment had more plot to it than both book one and two combined, and I was quite happy to finally feel like I was actually reading something with a little bit of substance.

That being said, I still don’t like El. She’s just such a fake character and very self centered; I never could get past any of it to actually like her, or even connect with her on the smallest level. She also somehow transformed herself into some kind of super spy in less than six months after being very kept and spoiled her entire life, and the entire flip of her felt forced and so, so fake.

I don’t know. I won’t one star this one, because I wasn’t bored out of my mind the entire time like the first two, but I also can’t say that I enjoyed this… at all.

Shout out here to the most confusing and random Pandora’s Box ending that didn’t fit the story and just served to absolutely stun me.
