ET TU BRUTE? FALL CAESAR
Julius Caesar was a very fun and challenging read for me. I read it almost entirely in the Shakespearian English, but some times it made more sense to reread parts of the book in modern English. I enjoyed reading the famous lines that I’ve heard from the play. I also watched the movie after I finished the book. I am not used to reading dialogue without narration, or reading plays, so Julius Caesar was challenging. I had to come up with different voices in my head for each character, and I tried to visualize as much as I could. Before I read Julius Caesar, I thought he was a great leader. In the book, it switches the way you think of Caesar between a tyrant and a tragic hero. Alan Durband did a very good translating it into modern English for easier reading. It took me about two weeks to read.

Interesting. Not dreadfully boring like some books I've had to read for schoolwork *glares at the Iliad*
