Have been reading this over for the last few days as I prepare for a new Star Wars WotC campaign, and it's much, much better than I gave it credit for the first time round. If you play the 2002 Revised Edition of Star Wars (which I'm sure approximately ten people on Earth still do), this book is essential. It contains great stat blocks for random encounters with thugs, mercenaries, as well as a variety of creatures, and plenty of droids. Finally, there's a lot of unique NPCs that have detailed backstories and motivations and methods to introduce them to your campaign. If you find it hard or tedious to come up with stat blocks, or you need to insert enemies on the fly, Ultimate Adversaries is basically a lifesaver for any 2002 Star Wars Revised Edition campaign. Again, not sure how many people that actually applies to, but this book is still great nonetheless.
