This book was very colorful and the illustrations were fun and imaginative. The book went through different ways you can show you care by having the care bears do a Care-a-lot contest. Throughout the book, it gave examples of how each care bear would demonstrate how they show they care. Some care bears shared their favorite items while others helped when they were needed. Some care bears provided comfort to someone who was unwell, while others found a way to make someone laugh. Some care bears gave out hugs, while others were courteous and read stories to others. The book ended with all of the care bears being the winner of the contest and they all shared the prize. I would recommend this book to teach young children how to be kind and courteous to others.

This is a great book to help express feeling. Talking about you feeling will help other know how you are feeling. Them listening to you is showing how they care about you.

This is one of a few "Care Bears" books I've read to my 2 year old granddaughter it was good but I really expected more from this author and from the Care Bears in general. It is a good book but a bit on the 'basic' storyline... It does help teach day to day things one could do to help others feel better as each Care Bear is doing 'something' to make a friend feel better.

Pretty standard Care Bears book. This is the second one we've gotten (both were presents). Neither one appeals to me, but our girls really like them.
