Samira Vivette is an Australian author and poet. An avid writer her entire life, Samira has a versatile writing approach and draws inspiration from unconventional ways of thinking and themes that are often overlooked. Her debut poetry collection, “Pastel Dreams and Glittered Hearts” details the process of healing through the darkness and incorporates ten entirely different themes underneath its pastel pink cover. Samira’s main poetic approach focuses on imagery and reader immersion to create nostalgia for certain scenes and places that have not been experienced before.

It took me a minute to get into this one, but once I did. Whew. There is so much power. The emotions in these poems are right at the surface and so many of them will knock you out.
