characters and family relationships are so painfully realistic and relatable that it was hard to read sometimes from how much i wanted to strangle each of them for different reasons

I really liked this play about a young man dealing with life after Vietnam and his family's attempted Thanksgiving celebration. I just read a review from when the play premiered, http://www.theater.nytimes.com/mem/th..., the reviewer didn't seem to like it at all. I'm thinking that the problem may have been with the direction. Wouldn't mind reviving this one.
