The best introduction to celiac disease I have read. When my son was diagnosed, I wanted to know everything about what was going on inside his little body, and this book gave me that. It's just the right amount of detail.

When it comes to health non-fiction, I tend to go in with the expectation it will be dry. This was laugh-out-loud funny and educational to boot!

It was really nice to read about a lot of different aspects of the disease in one location. It is a good overview (and goes in depth about a couple of things) of every facet of the disease. I found myself saying "okay good, I thought so" about a lot of things. A good resource to have on hand when you have a quick question and you don't want to sift through a lot of internet opinions before getting a simple answer.

Fabulously informative. Put everything into layman terms so I could actually get a handle on my diagnosis!! I was becoming overwhelmed but this book brought clarity.
