Rate this book
This comprehensive revision book aims to present a concise summary of basic principles in pharmacy practice with reference to clinical pharmacy in the community and hospital setting as well as insights into the practice of pharmacy in other areas. It is divided into three parts with an introduction to pharmacy, responding to minor ailments and pharmacy administration; and clinical pharmacy and pharmacotherapeutics. In each chapter the principles are presented in the context of other sciences such as medicinal chemistry and clinical pharmacology. In the clinical pharmacy and pharmacotherapeutics part, the chapters provide an introduction to the disease followed by a discussion of drug therapy. All of the information is provided in a clear layout. The logical order of chapters is appealing and its bullet point system is an effective method for ensuring easy reading of the material.
