Mémoires — Various authors. This volume collects acts and reports of the Société Royale des Sciences, Belles-Lettres et Arts D’Orléans (1840–1842), presenting proceedings on literature, agronomy, philology and political economy. It gathers literary criticism and historical studies (including analyses of Duvivier's works on the Morvan and the Solonais), discussions of romantic usage and regional descriptions, and debates on authenticity and the effectiveness of regional works. It also includes notices on competitions offered by learned societies, rules of submission, and prizes; practical agriculture and equipment such as the Hugues seeder, disease and prophylaxis of cereals (wheat caries and the 'charbon'), experimental cultures (rye multicaule and Madia sativa in Sologne) and potential forage and oil yields, elementary rural education texts and critiques of agricultural manuals; economic and policy discussions on livestock, tariffs, and the introduction of foreign animals; questions of public agricultural institutions; toponymy and place-name studies; and other reports on gothic works, monuments and local history. About the author

Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
