Great read. Let me wanting more. Unique as there are no chapter divisions just one flowing narrative.

I am not giving this 4 stars for the writing. I read this book because of his mother and father's books which were a little more compelling. We seldom hear the side of the children from persecuted Christians and Michael's is an important one. Do you want to know what life is really like in a Communist country? Read this book. Do you want to know why so many people in the West think Communism is good? Well, read this testimony. But whether you read the book or not, please do not insist on thinking that Communism in any form is good.
