Finished and started right back over again...twice...

A collection of letters with nuggets of wisdom made for those meeting their maker.
Each chapter, while difficult to get through at times, offers a glimpse into the unyielding spirit of those who stayed defiant till the end of the Nazi regime. Countless lives were lost as a result, but none whatsoever regretted what had to be done morally and stayed true to themselves till the bitter end. Christianity shines brightly from the words of those persecuted, and acts as a good reference point for those wanting to explore the bible from the chapters mentioned by these ordained martyrs. The book’s emotional weight would not have been realized if it wasn’t for the help of the introductions before each chapter. But other than that, overall a good anthology for those who resonate with Christianity.
