Answering questions about the process of therapy, the patient-therapist relationship, and ways to make therapy more effective, a collection of essays features the contributions of Eric Fromm, Theodore Reik, Irvin D. Yalom, and other writers and therapists. 10,000 first printing.
I think this book is aimed more at therapists and trainee therapists. I got it as it had 2 Irvin Yalom stories in. One I knew but liked anyway, but the other one was new. He also starts the foreword off with him doing an Armenian cooking class! I know the story the Taboo Scarf but the way it's edited makes the ending make no sense as you have to disclose the grandfather's secrets.
