I live in Texas with my husband, daughter, and three Labrador retrievers. By day you can find me at my 'day job' buried under a pile of paperwork but at night I am at my computer creating new worlds!
I have always loved the paranormal. Shape-shifters, witches, and vampires have been my number one choice of reading material so when I strated to write it was the genre I chose.
I currently have several books released through Totally Bound. I have one long running series the Were Chronicles and in March 2014 a spin-off series the Shifter Chronicles will be revealed.
I also have several stand alone novellas and novels.
I am working hard to bring more stories to the readers so they can sit back and relax while losing themselves in the paranormal romance world.
" Jo Black goes in search of a vampire — and finding one is going to rock her world. Immortal Nic Lucian finally meets his bond-mate, only to have her try to kill him....bla..bla..bla.."
Jo as a character is…..annoying. She is the type of character who makes you want to slap some sense into her..Sorry,this book is a disappointment..frustrated LOL..
To be honest,I feel as though the author has much talent. She is able to put words on a page and tell a story..
This was an ok story. There was nothing spectacular about the plot and the characters were one dimensional. This was a novella length book but the story seemed rushed. It was a quick read...no surprises...even though the villain should have been a suprise. It was just kind of on the bland side. I was a tad disapointed because Smith could have provided more depth to her characters and the story and it would have made the story much more enjoyable.
Three natural born vampire brothers, looking for their bond-mates.
Nic, middle brother, staves off a vampire hunter attack from Jo Black. She is of course, his bond-mate. Not only that but the younger brother Julian is already bond-mated to Jo's sister Kristen, who Jo thought was dead.
This smutty novella had plenty of paranormal heat between a heroine and a supernatural, "good" vampire-like creature. The story had some life here and there, but the sizzle was more the focus of this read. A heated, entertaining jaunt for those looking for a tall, dark and handsome creature to kidnap and sway a troubled vampire hunter.
Okay so I finally finished this book and at first I admit I thought it was absolutely horrible, but that's because Smith uses nearly all of the most cliche cliches but the ending was cute. Predictable, but cute.
