My best friend’s grandpa recommended it to me. I love advice given in the form of literature. The ending sentence: “A great part of the miseries of mankind are brought upon them by the false estimates they have made of the value of things by giving too much for their whistle.” Only 5 pages but I’ll keep this story on a shelf of my mind for life and pass it on.

Excerpt from a Benjamin Franklin letter. Good idea to live by "Did you give to much for your whistle?" Just not good literature.
