Forensics

Rate this book
This is a high-interest magazine for upper elementary and middle school-age kids. This very timely topic is about analyzing evidence related to crime scenes...TV shows like NCIS, NCIS New Orleans, NCIS Los Angeles, etc. use forensics to solve crimes and are very popular right now. Articles and stories like...Crime Busters, Clues from the Past, Bones Can Tell Tales, Body of Evidence, Common Scents will engage students and keep them reading, even your reluctant readers! This book could be projected for whole or small group instruction, select an article for a Read Aloud, or used for independent reading. The reading strategy for this magazine is Predicting. I will include the Teacher's Guide with the black line masters, notes for Before, During , and After reading, a project, graphic organizers, an anticipation guide, etc. for the first two purchasers.
