At the time of publication, this was one of the only books available for the serious Magic the Gathering tournament player. It points out many of the concepts necessary to transform oneself into a tournament caliber player. Nowadays there are far greater resources available on line for high end strategy, but at the time, this was a welcome addition to the barely available tournament literature.
