About the author

I live in Colorado with my husband and daughter, as well as a constantly changing mixture of family and pets. I thought winning the Romance Writer's of America's Golden Heart Award was the highlight of my writing career, but seeing my first Harlequin book on the shelves topped that. My background as a social worker has helped fill my head with the stories of people, and inspired the characters whose stories I tell.

Clarissa Elin has had trouble with her psychic visions before, but can not ignore the vision of the handsome stranger dying in her arms. When she sees him on the street outside of a bank where she later find he is a bank Vice-President works as an auditor she tries to warn him. David Lorde isn't sure what to make of the beautiful woman claiming his life is in danger. Later she has another vision of David having a fight with a woman he calls Rachel, she later learns that Rachel is his late wife.




Clarissa continues to have visions as she and David get closer. She soon comes to the conclusion that the threat comes from none other than Rachel's spirit who has decided David must die so that he can be with her again. If that means killing Clarissa that's alright with her. Can Clarissa break the spell Rachel has cast before Rachel succeeds in removing Clarissa from the picture permanently?




This book contains the paranormal, romance, suspense and humor all rolled into one dynamic read. The characters are fleshed out and multidimensional, the various scenes are described in such a way as to make the reader feel as if they there watching them unfold. It is a fairly short read that flows well and moves at a quick pace. My rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars. Raging Spirits is a book I thoroughly enjoyed from an author I look forward to reading more from in the future.
