Jennifer Karmin's books include the text-sound epic "Aaaaaaaaaaalice" and "The Sexual Organs of the IRS", a collaboration with Bernadette Mayer. Her multidisciplinary work has transpired at festivals, in artist-run spaces, and on city streets. Since 2005, she has curated the Red Rover Series and often led ensembles of poets improvising together across the U.S., Cuba, Japan, Kenya, and Europe. At home in Chicago, she teaches creative writing to immigrants and refugees at Truman College.
