This is part of a series of cassettes, each with an accompanying book (available separately), which gives training in key business communication skills. Emphasis is placed on building awareness of language appropriateness and fluency in typical business interactions. The listening material includes both native and non-native spoken English. It is aimed at lower to pre-intermediate level by business and professional people. It systematically presents and practices language for developing appropriacy, fluency and confidence. The cassette features a wide range of British, American and non-native speakers to reflect usage in the business world (models are in British and US English). Also, the interactive exercises on the cassette mean that the self-study learner can practise effectively alone. Each book/cassette "package" is designed for use in class, particularly on short, intensive, skills-based courses, or for self-study.
