What a great resource Art Tipaldi has crafted with the help of this generation of blues musicians. The featured generation in this tome do a great job referencing their influences from the previous couple of generations of bluesmen. It also features several of today's bluesmen extolling the virtues of clean and sober lifestyles. They note their playing improves with sobriety and they have witnessed too many great talents cut short due to substance abuses. But mostly I'm excited to listen to some of these blues artists I have not heard before. If you enjoy blues music, I think you will find this book very enlightening.
