"David is an incredibly gifted researcher and writer. He has been able to do what the mainstream media has been unwilling and unable to do, which is to chronicle the unprecedented and dangerous corruption in the Justice Department and expose how politics has been used to protect the Clintons. This is a must-read for anybody who wants to restore honor, dignity, and integrity to our justice system." -Sean Hannity, Fox News

Okay, I got this book for 20 cents, yup, $0.20 at the public library in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Most books get remaindered, at least a few copies. So, really, that's no slight against it. I brought it home with a few others and read it when I got to it in the list. Then, I realized that it was written by Rush Limbuagh's little brother...about a democratic White House. Okay, so I knew going in that the author probably had an ax to grind.
Now that I'm finished, I have two strong impressions from having read the book. I know a bit about Bush's 2000-2008 White House, from the many books I've read about it. Now, I read this about the administration just prior to his, and I'm overwhelmed with the notion that there is dirt in every White House, some of it real, criminal doings, and some of it able to look that way because of a writer's agenda and slanted reporting. What stories will books tell of the Obama White House?
The second impression is how ignoble VP Gore came through in the book. The fund-raising, Buddhist temple event, his very poor memory and what must be bald face lies, are just too damning. Makes me think back to the 2000 election and all those chads. It was a tight race and the one who prevailed will not be remembered kindly for the decisions of his administration. At the end of Absolute Power, I felt we really didn't have a decent choice in 2000, we just didn't know it then.
Very good description of the corruption of the Clinton Administration and especially the actions of the Justice Department under Janet Reno. The book provides a detailed description of the Justice Department's actions during the ATF/FBI raid in Waco which I found to be most interesting.
David Limbaugh unearths quite a bit of dirt on President Bill and First Lady Hillary Clinton during their reign in the White House. Further investigation is not likely, but would be warranted. This was an interesting read prior to the 2016 Presidential election and verified many of the details previously disclosed. Not for the faint of heart who believe in the Clinton family dynasty.
