This is a really great broad-spectrum reference book. Fantastic sections on the actual designing, planting, and caring for your garden. I like that the encyclopedia section discusses the history, habitat, growth habits, and uses (medicinal, culinary, cosmetic, and aromatic) of each herb. Really wonderful reference tool for the novice, or the intermediate herbologist.

Needed to replant my herb garden so I've been into this book a lot for the past few days. My herb garden is already based on their design. Lots of information about every type of herb.
