A pretty good read, I was pulled in from the start. I found it a little bit unbelievable, even ignoring the many coincidences because I know there are more coincidences in real life, but the reactions of various people towards milo did really stretch credibility. It was nice to feel to be so much back in the seventies, though and, though milo’s character annoyed me, I was rooting for him.
What a strange book! I can normally follow any story but I tended to lose my way with this one. The premise is that Miles or Milo depending on who he is with buys a trunk at auction full of papers and photos. The then follows a series of contrived and unbelieveable coincidences that bring in lots of other characters which build up to the end of the story. Throw in drug use, a war in Israel and a strange girlfriend and some connection to Edward and Mrs Simpson and you have a mish mash of a story. I gave it two stars not one as at least it made me stick with it to see what the ending would be!!
