This book is the fourth book of the series Brewing Evil where Petur and Gudrun are the main characters. In this book, the reader gets to follow the steps of Petur's life since he lost his wife and child on his way to New Iceland. I don't want to give away anything but by the end of the book, my feelings about Petur and Gudrun's personalities changed to the exact opposite of what I felt after reading the first 3 books. Interesting that writing this made me realize that! I missed Eliza in this book, but am anxiously waiting for the fifth book!

The author, Carol Gardarsson, is currently working hard on the serquels to this book and another interesting book of a totally different genre. Can't wait until she comes out with more! Enjoy!

No wonder Petur would never give up the search for his wife! After the tragedies in his childhood, who could blame him. I felt bad when he began to wonder if he should give up, but when he didn't, thanks to Gudrun, I was so relieved! I can't believe how this book changed my mind about Gudrun - I didn't like her at all in the other books, but once I saw what she went through, I actually felt sorry for her! Can't wait for book five!!!
